So I think I'm going to start studying Thomas Kincaid and his landscapes.  Hope it works out.

So I think I'm going to have to just give up playing games if I want to make this art stuff really work.  I haven't even looked at SC2 for 5 weeks now and it hasn't bothered me.  Maybe its because I'm getting older.

Well I've always been saying I just don't have time to develop my digital art.   So I decided to cut back on gaming and focus on painter 11 and my wacom pad.   Its really silly when you think about it.   I've had an intuos 3 since they came out and I'm just now starting to wear the nub.  Anyway the Girl in the red bikini piece was my first one.   I did it all with color pencils but I'm not sure if I like that medium.   If you know of any other good brushes to try feel free to comment.   Sorry I've been so slow but my goal is to put up at least 2 pieces a week.   We'll see if I can do it.

Scanned in a lot of things and sent them to the scrap book..  Also posted what I'm working on now in Painter 11.  Enjoy.

Having a lot of fun using Painter 11 to do some work.  I kinda wonder if it's really art though if the program helps me too much.  At what point do I draw the line and say "this is me" and "this is Painter doing the work for me."  Where do you draw the line?
